Union Square Awards Staff
Irini Neofotistos is the Director of the Union Square Awards. She leads grant and technical assistance programs that support grassroots activists and organizations in New York City. Irini joined the foundation in 2006 to help launch the Union Square Arts Award and has since helped strengthen the foundation’s grantmaking, communications, and capacity-building initiatives. With a range of partners, she develops learning opportunities, collective strategies, and resources to grow the sustainability of social justice and arts organizations serving youth and families in low-income communities.
